Lofty Expectations
Now that the Aman New York has finally opened its doors, some members believe the outpost has fallen short of expectations.
There's been confusion over an outdoor pool, a photo of which has been used for marketing materials about the space. As it turns out, members won't have access to that amenity - unless of course they purchase the private residence that it comes with.
As for the indoor pool, part of the Aman's three-story spa complex? One member said it seemed more like "a municipal pool" than an exclusive oasis. Ouch, although it's fair to say we'd like to visit the "municipal pools" that person has seen.
