Lake Como's Villa d'Este's beauty is both iconic and unparalleled, from its views of the surrounding mountains and lake itself, to the structure's centuries-old architecture. Initially built in 1568 as a summer residence for Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, the hotel today has 152 guest rooms and suites, a Lake Como-floating pool, and idyllic gardens equipped with more than 25 species of plants and flowers.
