Palisociety, the boutique brand that aims to create chic lodgings "for grownups" has tapped into the reemerging Culver City scene with this retro Palihotel outpost. Located in a former boarding house (which is rumored to have once had Joan Crawford as a resident), the newcomer in the iconic movie-making area is all about florals and mod '60s minimalism. Its smart French eatery, Simonette, boasts indoor and outdoor dining areas - and both are sure to draw in a cool crowd.
