Let's talk about the decor. Where did the idea of this Baroque, velvety interior come from?
Everything you see in this room, I came up with it. In all my spaces, I put my heart and soul into a place and try and think what would work or what kind of place I would want to be at. I wanted something that was really luxurious, really sexy, but at the same time a little bit naughty as well. You want to go, you want to get drunk, you want to get laid, you want to have a fun time. So I’ve got one side of the room blue, one side of the room red, so you can drift form the more mellow part to the more aggressive part of the room. I always loved the fact that Beatrice had this kind of very chilled out area then you went into this red, tiny room where things got crazy. It’s got a little British to it as well.
