s10We would like to see a six pack tomorrow… JH: (Laughs) While I can’t promise you will see a six pack tomorrow, I can help you see a flatter stomach right now. Simply work on your posture. Most people forget about importance of posture in appearance of abs. Rounded shoulders and tilted pelvis’ run rampant. Here’s the trick: 1) Retract and depress your shoulders, like you are trying to stick them into your back pockets. Don’t make the mistake of lifting them upward, which many people do. Simply rotate them back and then down. You should be standing taller, chest up. 2) Now, suck in right beneath your navel and push your pelvis forward slightly, into a neutral position. Don’t make the mistake of pushing your stomach forward. Your pelvis should tuck under you slightly and your glutes activate. This may feel odd at first but fixing posture is honestly one of the most important steps into getting a six pack and flat stomach. [Photo via @s10training]
