N-p-Elliott
Nicholas Elliott grew up in the Scottish countryside, which influenced his latest collection of tweeds and sports. "Those were the combos I saw growing up," he told us backstage. "Country tweeds but also tracksuits." It's quite a contradiction, but his collection was everything but. If there's one thing Nicholas knows how to do it's cement two polar ideas together and create a fresh new outlook.
As a young designer, he understands that to sell clothes he has to have a bit of sportswear in the collection. He didn't need to look far, as his father owned a sporting store in Scotland called Elliott Sport. We saw the logo plastered on sport pants and v-neck sweaters. Expect to see a lot more of this newcomer - we can't wait to get our hands on a pair of those track pants and the military style denim bomber.
