Pirate, candy-man, scissor-hands...is there anything he can't be? Well, besides his array of quirky characters, the Johnny-of-all-trades can also list certified "artist" on his already impressive résumé.
His passion for painting has led him to create portraits of some of his idols, including Marlon Brando and Patti Smith, and loved ones, such as Tim Burton and ex-partner Vanessa Paradis.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2009, Depp said,
"What I love to do is paint people's faces, y'know, their eyes. Because you want to find the emotion, see what's going on behind their eyes."
