Not only was this classic heartthrob a cigarette-wielding silver screen legend who was gone before his time, he was also an extremely talented artist. James Dean worked with watercolors, pen, ink, and even sculpture, producing works such as the "Portrait of Billy Gunn" pictured here.
His last painting before his untimely death, the portrait to the left depicts Dean's best friend and roommate (and is considered one of his finest pieces). The painting was a gift to his friend and apparently remains in the Gunn family today—though we wouldn't mind throwing down a few thousand for a canvas touched by that godly hand.
