People are calling it the Apocalypse of 2019. Not because it's the death of everything, but like the death of Williamsburg and/or Manhattan is pretty much the same thing. With all the good people of Brooklyn stranded, what's going to happen to anything genuine and good in this world? Why would people make the schlep into Manhattan if they don't have to? Slowly Manhattan will die and become more and more irrelevant. You thought the Brooklyn art scene was already exclusive? Try not being able to actually get there! The best way to keep the basic bitches out? Just shut down the most basic metro line!
