Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band at L.A. Sports Arena
Respectful people can disagree on much of so-called "classic" rock music: I'd rather, for example, drink a bleach martini than go to a Bon Jovi concert. But despite being painted in popular media with that same working-class New Jersey brush, Bruce Springsteen is a true artist, a thoughtful and complicated singer-songwriter whose most classic songs are subtle, charged, and often completely misunderstood by the truck commercials they appear in. He brings the whole band through L.A. for two nights in support of the new "Wrecking Ball" album, and anyone who says you lose hipster cred by wanting to go should probably pull their head out of their ass long enough to take a listen.
