The Connor Brother: True Love Stories

A little background information on the twin artists, the Connor Brothers: Franklin and Brendan Connor were raised in a cult called "
The Family." They were severely sheltered from the outside world until they ran away from the cult at age 16. Although they were overwhelmed by the reality of a world outside the cult, their curiosity and willingness to learn allowed them to grow into humorous artists through their imitation vintage movie posters. The Connor Brothers satirizes historical and popular culture in the form of
True Love Stories.

Matt Lipps: Library

Matt Lipps'
Library exhibit consists of almost 500 cut-out figures in a 17-volume book set,
Library of Photography, published in 1970 - 1972 by Time-Life Books. Using collage and sculpture techniques, about 500 images are assembled to showcase 40 years of American picture taking. Will photography be taken over by digital media and imaging? Perhaps. But Lipps captures the beauty of photography outside of the frames and leaves you to answer those questions.
