Ever looking for that perfect place after work (or more likely, the beach) where you can let your hair down and enjoy some drinks and appetizers overlooking the water? Look no further than Tide Runners in Hampton Bays.

Conveniently close to 27, Tide Runners is a must-stop for those who are looking for drinks and a bar menu at fair prices. Whether it's $4 Maragaritas on Monday and Wednesday or $3 Coors Lights on Tuesday and Thursday, you can be sure to find some sort of special happy hour deal. The bar menu is nothing that out of the ordinary when it comes to bar food, but if you're looking for generous portions at great prices, try the zucchini sticks and the quesadillas. They left us totally full. The dinner menu has great seafood and steak dishes, but if you're looking to pinch your pennies, it's not exactly the most affordable to order from. We suggest you save that for a night with someone special or a celebratory occasion.

What's even better-you can arrive by boat or car, there's no cover, and there's the natural air conditioning from the bay breeze that you just can't beat. Every day from 6:30pm-9:30pm, there's also live music covering everything from reggae to contemporary, which gives you the option to get your dance on or just sit and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The crowd at Tide Runners ranges from the twentysomethings who are out looking for a good time to an older crowd who has been summering out here for ages. Basically, it's a win across the board.
