Snaps From Microsoft Heiress Jennifer Gates's Fairytale Wedding

This past weekend, Jennifer Gates (yes of that Gates, duh) and Nayel Nassar wed in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. Basically, it was like a fairytale, except for the fact that she's already super rich and he's not doing too bad either...

Jennifer, an MD Candidate at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Founder of Evergate Stables, announced her engagement to Nassar last January when he proposed during a ski trip. As is custom in the equestrian world, the bride's groom is also a dedicated rider (horse girls love horse guys!) - he ranked 44th in the world as a show jumping rider and even represented Egypt in his very first Olympic Games this past summer.

With the help of Marcy Blum Events, the happy couple transformed their Bedford, NY farm into a magical scene. Packed full with wedding events, the whirlwind weekend began with an intimate Islamic marriage ceremony on Friday. A much larger exchange of vows (which the pair wrote themselves), officiated by a close family friend, followed on Saturday, with Jennifer stunning in a custom long-sleeve Vera Wang Haute gown.

“Planning a wedding while I was in medical school rotations and Nayel was preparing for the Olympics was no small feat,” Jennifer shared with Vogue. “But it was so worth it to share such a special day with those closest to us. We feel so grateful for everyone involved who kept us on track and helped make our vision come to life. One piece of advice we were given [throughout the planning process] was to remember that this day is about us and our love. I think we really kept that at the center of our minds while planning, and we also tried to ensure that our families and friends were able to enjoy themselves.”
