The Real Housewives meets the White House!
No, Bravo has surprisingly not convinced Dr. Jill Biden to join the reality show franchise, but she, along with her husband, President Joe Biden, are now officially linked to it - through marriage, at least.
On Monday, the First Couple stopped into Pennsylvania to attend the intimate wedding of Cuffe Biden Owens, a Los Angeles-based attorney and the President's nephew, and former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan O'Toole King.
The whirlwind nuptials came just two weeks after King took their relationship public on Instagram. While it's unknown how long, exactly, the pair have been together, the Real Housewives alum told Brides, "We connected on a dating app, texted for a day or two, then spent five straight hours on the phone the first time we spoke."
The low-key affair was hosted at the groom's childhood home in Kennett Square, belonging to his parents Valerie (Joe Biden's sister and close advisor) and Jack Owens.
"We toyed around with an L.A. wedding—at an estate or venue or something—but the truth is it never felt right to either one of us," King explained. "When we realized that Cuffe’s parents’ wedding anniversary—October 11—was a holiday Monday, we both knew exactly what we were going to do, where we were going to do it, and how we were going to do it. It’s a beautiful thing to see eye-to-eye with each other as we do."
Next stop, a honeymoon in DC?
