Held at the posh Barcode Lounge, Toast with the Queen 2014 (TWTQ14) celebrated Mrs. DC America 2014, Meredith Egwuatu, as she heads to off compete at Mrs. America AUG 22-29, 2014. The intimate affair also raised over $1,000 for the non-profit, Luke’s Wings, which unites wounded warriors, veterans and heroes with their loved ones when they need them most. As the evening moved along with continuous photo flashes and passing of business cards, Veronica Jeon requested all to have a “Toast” with the Queen, a yearly tradition started by the Mrs. DC America organization. After the toast a raffle took place and several lucky attendees won prizes provided by Lowes Island Dentistry and Fitness Together.
