Maybe teach your dad a thing or two

Jesuit schools are religious, but there's a huge emphasis on intellectualism there. The ultimate goal of Jesuit education at a school like Georgetown is NOT to indoctrinate students with religion, but to teach them how to have a conversation. With that being said, there's a concept in Catholicism called "the seamless garment," which means that you cannot have conflicting ideologies because that's hypocritical. Meaning that you cannot say that you're against abortion because you value the human life and then propose a Muslim ban because that clearly means you don't value the lives of other humans. You dig? Perhaps you should teach your dad some of these ideologies if the Constanza Defense doesn't work out in his favor (which seems to be the case).
