Eunice Kennedy and Robert Sargent Shriver Jr.
Robert Sargent Shiver Jr. holds bride Eunice Kennedy as she stands on a chair to cut their towering wedding cake. The long gown and wedding cake were similar white arrangements as Eunice elegantly stood side by side to it. The reception was held at the Waldorf-Astoria in May of 1953. Joseph P. Sr. and Rose Kennedy were glad to welcome another son into the Kennedy family.
