How do the floral palettes of your clients differ? How do they parallel?

What I find constantly amazing is how subjective flowers are! One person’s favorite flowers are another person’s most despised bloom, so there is really no consistency in which flowers evoke which emotions for whom. Fashion folk tend to favor white, and I think it’s hard to go wrong with a single-stem bunch of any white flower.

What flower do you like to receive? What flower do you like to give?

No one ever sends me flowers anymore! I love to receive any flowers (from FLOWERBX, of course); and, like food, always favor what’s in season. One of the greatest things about working with flowers is their inherent seasonality. In the Spring, I can’t get enough of peonies, but as I start to tire of peonies (if that’s even possible), dahlias are back with a bang, leading us to late summer when we see the reemergence of hydrangea in bright beautiful hues. So, I don’t have a favorite flower, but I definitely have a favorite flower every season.
