So, get this - not only is this dude a professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets, he's also making major waves on the crypto front. In 2020, the self-proclaimed "tech guy with a jumper" shook the NBA when he turned his $34.4 million contract into his own cyrpto-based investment vehicle, allowing fans and investors to purchase tokenized shares of, well, himself. He got a lot of pushback from the league but managed to pull it off, opening up a whole world of potential for fellow athletes and celebs. This year, the 28-year-old revealed that he'll be launching his own crypto ecosystem called Calaxy (a portmanteau of “Creator’s galaxy”), to help entertainers and sports stars turn their value into crypto tokens like he did.
