With its façade draped in dreamy florals, Chanson Le Salon is a picturesque Tribeca destination that's hard to miss.
And you definitely won't want to.
The new French brasserie is one part charming patisserie, one part cocktail bar, and one part fine dining destination, making it a total must-visit from brunch 'til dinner (and then some).
During the day, you can stop in for bread and grab-and-go French bakery treats as well as some seriously indulgent brunch offerings (eggs benedict croissant, anyone?), while, in the evenings, executive chef Frédéric Robert serves up refined French cuisine that puts a spotlight on seasonal ingredients, with dishes including Citrus-infused Sea Bass, Duck à l’Orange, and, of course, Filet Mignon Au Poivre.
Conceptualized as an upscale living room, Le Salon also invites visitors to sit back and relax with cocktails courtesy of beverage director Jeremy Le Blanche, whose boozy creations take an elegant, minimalist approach to mixology. The draft cocktail selection features fresh takes on classics from the Old Fashioned to a negroni made with patchouli. As for the bar menu? Snack on elevated bites including oysters, lobster rolls, truffle cheese fries, and yakitori chicken nuggets.
It's certainly a chicer option than hanging out in our own living room, that's for sure.
