And lest we forget this beloved Brooklyn mainstay. Peter Luger has called Williamsburg home since 1887, and though the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around it, the legendary locale has (mostly) stood the test of time with its classy old school interiors and premier cuts of beef that are dry-aged on site. It's a must for the steakhouse purists, and it belongs on the bucket list of anyone who calls themselves a New Yorker.
