Oxalis

Over in Prospect Heights, Oxalis dubs itself a "neighborhood bistro" but is certifiably a fine-dining destination. One, however, that democratizes the idea of a fancy tasting menu. Formerly a pop-up which appeared in kitchens across the city, the seasonally-minded French-ish eatery by Nico Russell (a Daniel alum) boasts a nightly chef's menu at a practically unheard-of price of $70. That's in the dining room. But there's also an airy bar & garden room where guests can enjoy some affordable a la carte options.
