The Four Horsemen
Another more casual crowd-favorite, Williamsburg's The Four Horsemen has also debuted with one star. It's beloved for its rotating, seasonal menus and epic wine list. So yes, it is possible to go on a first date at a Michelin-starred spot without it being weird or over-the-top. Also, one of its owners is James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem, so that's pretty cool.
