Oh, you want swanky? Mario Batali's got swanky. Go big or go home at the latest celebrity chef outpost in New York, La Sirena. The sprawling space opened at the Maritime Hotel this February to a buzzing clientele. The trattoria-style decor is reminiscent of a Mediterranean coast, as is the fresh Italian food by Executive Chef Josh Laurano. Mario himself recommends the Artichoke Carpaccio and the Beef Braciole; we're sure your date will take his advice.
