Zaytinya

Nearly a century after the opening of the original, a new Ritz-Carlton hotel landed in NoMad last year to much fanfare. And while there's plenty to admire about the newish luxury outpost, you can't miss Zaytinya, its Mediterranean restaurant helmed by celebrity chef José Andrés. Named for the Turkish word for olive oil, the spot is serving up an innovative selection of mezze and shareable plates inside a bright, airy space on the hotel's ground floor. FYI: The scene-stealing bar boasts a blue lava stone top and a hand-blown glass installation inspired by the "evil eye" that's practically made for Instagram.
