The Leopard at Des Artistes

The Leopard at Des Artistes is the revamped take on longstanding Lincoln Center dining destination Café des Artistes, which was once frequented by the likes of Marcel Duchamp, Norman Rockwell, Isadora Duncan and Rudolph Valentino. Helmed by new proprietors Gianfranco Sorrentino and Paula Sorrentino, the white tablecloth hot spot specializes in authentic Italian cuisine spanning the country's different regions. The murals "Fantasy Scenes with Naked Beauties," painted by artist Howard Chandler Christy, still provide a lavish backdrop fit for the next generation of diners.
