The EDGE Opens With The Most Incredible Views Of Manhattan

Soaring higher than any other outdoor observation deck in the western hemisphere, EDGE at Hudson Yards is finally open to the public. While Hudson Yards debuted a year ago, EDGE was one of the remaining components of New York City's newest neighborhood destination to be anticipated. 

At 100 and 101 stories above ground (over a thousand feet in the air), EDGE opened to terrific fanfare and guests from all over the world this past Thursday, not letting something like COVID-19 get in its way (do germs even make it that far up? Probably not?). To put that into perspective, it is higher than the Empire State Building.

Boasting 360-degree views of Manhattan and New Jersey, EDGE is now open to the public and tickets are available for $36. In typical Hudson Yard fashion, the idea behind EDGE is to complement New York City and show guests a vantage point that has never before been seen.

With daily programming and surprises (the opening party featured a live band a ballet that took place on the side of the building as acrobats scaled down the windows) and a restaurant on the 101st floor named PEAK that will boast, arguably, the best view in all of New York City, EDGE adds a new lifestyle component to the already vibrant community created around Hudson Yards. And duh, some pretty amazing Insta opportunities.
