Catch the "Madame Cézanne" Exhibition at the Met
If you haven't yet made it to the Metropolitan Museum for the Madame Cézanne exhibition, now is the time to do it. The exhibit will run for only two more weeks and it is certainly something not to be missed. French artist Paul Cézanne's wife, Hortense Fiquet, had a significant impact on both his personal and artistic life. She was his most painted model and the exhibit features twenty-four portraits of Hortense created by Cézanne over a period of more than twenty years. The oil, watercolor, and graphite works explore the couple's relationship and pays respect to the Post-Impressionist's often overlooked muse.
The Madame Cézanne Exhibition runs through March 15.
