Turns out the The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel really can do anything, including bring back one of New York's most beloved institutions. In honor of the show's new season on Amazon Prime, the iconic Carnegie Deli has returned for one week only to throw New Yorkers back to the 1950s.

Though it isn't back at the delicatessen's original location in Midtown, the pop-up was closely advised by the owners of Carnegie Deli, which shuttered in 2016 after 79 years. Classic favorites have been re-imagined for a fun take on Midge's world, with a pastrami sandwich named "The Maisel," "The Susie" turkey sandwich, black and white cookies, mini-knishes, and New York cheesecake. And the interiors aren't the only thing going retro - the prices, too, are certainly not of this era. Ninety-nine cents for a massive pastrami? No wonder the wait list is over 6,000 strong.

While dine-in reservations have quickly filled up, visitors can still order either of the sandwiches to go and snap photos at the vintage counter, with the jukebox, in the photo booth, or with one of the old school cars parked outside.
