White Horse Tavern
The White Horse Tavern was the prime gathering place for writers and artists in the 1950s West Village. Still open today, the White Horse is said to be the last place poet Dylan Thomas was seen before falling into a drunken coma and eventually dying.
Dylan's haunting of the tavern is not perceived as an infliction but as kind of...fun? The current owner has spotted shot glasses of Dylan's favorite whiskey at his table with no explanation on how it got it there. Dare to sit at his table and have a drink with him. Maybe he'll pass along some inspiration.
