New Amsterdam Theater
The New Amsterdam is one of the oldest existing Broadway venues in New York City, dating back to 1904. The theater is currently owned by Disney, however it was once the venue for Ziegfeld Follies, a burlesque group. One of their prime performers of the group was Olive Thomas who died by accidentally swallowing mercury pills. But let's just say she's still livening up the theater today.
Many watchmen and stagehands have had experiences with Olive's ghost flirting with them or blowing kisses at them while working. She even caused some mischief on the set of The Lion King. This lady is not to be messed with, which is why here and now the people who work there know to stay on her good side.
