Clare Bronfman

Up until this year, Clare Bronfman, the youngest daughter of billionaire Edgar Bronfman Sr., and heiress to the Seagram's fortune, was primarily known as an equestrian and philanthropist. The 39-year-old, however, has recently been accused of donating money to the strange, celebrity-backed sex cult NXIVM. In July, she was arrested by the Feds, who claim she bought a private island and a plane to help the shady organization, which marketed itself as a "self-help" community but actually used women as sex slaves. She and her sister apparently lent the group's founder, Keith Raniere, around $150 million. Clare was charged with money laundering and identity theft in connection with NXIVM activities, and is currently under house arrest.
