Dude, humans suck, right? They ruin everything. But animals (specifically dogs) make everything better. Everyone in your inner circle, your family, and your peer group will drive you insane, but your fluffiest friend is someone you can always count on to make you smile. It's worth having to clean up their poop once in a while, don't you think? What is Karl Lagerfeld without Choupette or Paris Hilton without Tinkerbell (R.I.P.)? A pet doesn't just soften your image, it softens your heart. Sure, as millennials we're privy to being self absorbed, you can't help but be selfless and treat your pet like royalty.
