Palm Beach socialite Nancy Tsai was once a member of a well-known philanthropic clique in Toronto, dubbed "The Glitter Girls," hosting Valentino himself at one of her soirees in 1986. In 2014, however, the ex-wife of the late Primerica chairman Gerald Tsai was arrested on charges that she stole millions from the trust account of her 92-year-old friend Helga Marston, who had been suffering from dementia. Her purchases included a $2.3 million beachfront penthouse condo, a $170,000 Bentley and a $28,000 private jet day-trip between Florida and Canada. And they say you should keep your friends close.
