They get uncomfortable when talking about Trump
When you make a joke about how fucked up the Trump administration is, they suddenly get really quiet. Why is that? Perhaps their father runs a hedge fund that somehow capitalizes off of Trump's catering to the Wall Street crowd. Or even worse, their dad is going to join the administration once they get released from a white collar prison where the cells are nicer than your apartment. Even if you just make a joke about Tiffany (who is our favorite Trump, of course, so go easy on her!), they get a little uneasy because they think her best friend Andrew Warren is a murderer.
