Every good guest (or guest of a guest) knows that the secret to snagging another invite is to be wildly entertaining. For lack of any social obligation, a host will always want the most interesting person in the room to return. Of course, when there are so many other interesting people in the room, a dramatic lie here or there is practically obligatory. Let's call it the Holly Golightly effect.
