One of New York's more exciting social calendar listings went off in true form last night. The New York Academy of Art's Tribeca Ball featured a mystical smattering of stilt walkers, contortionists, musicians, poets, fortune tellers and more. Unlike your usual, stuffy gala, this downtown bash takes place in the very studios of the students the event is meant to benefit.
Stars and supporters like Brooke Shields, Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, and Mark Ruffalo spent the evening sauntering from studio to studio, taking in the semester's works, chatting with the artists, and even taking home a few pieces for themselves.
