Fly-under-the-radar Automatic Slims is unassuming by day, and turned up to about a thousand by night. No frills are needed at this West Village dive, where the late-night overflow from the Meatpacking district co-mingles with East Villagers who have defected. The jukebox goes strong with everything from Jay Z to Bon Jovi, and if you get lucky enough you might catch a bachelorette party on top of the bar… in heels.
