It’s a whole new world out in the wine world. In the heart of NYU, in between the fast food joints and pizza places, stands Corkbuzz Wine Studio-- a wine education center that moonlights as a wine-centric restaurant. Laura Maniec, the world’s youngest master sommelier created this cozy studio with one goal in mind: to create an approachable environment to learn about wine. Whether it is attending one of the studio’s wine classes or having her staff steer you through the esoteric wine list, you better be sure they will be pushing you out of your wino comfort zone.
