Behold Le Dive, Jon Neidich's New Parisian-Inspired Bar & Café

With its bistro seating, retro interiors, and eclectic bar accents, stepping into this new bar-café feels like stepping into a timeworn tabac straight off the streets of Paris.

Hot on the heels of opening his stylish downtown piano bar, The Nines, hospitality maven Jon Neidich has just unveiled the latest sure-to-be-hot-spot in his Golden Age Hospitality portfolio: Le Dive.

Inspired by the laid-back Parisian watering holes beloved by bohemians in the 10th and 11th arrondissements, this chic destination should feel right at home in the cool kid enclave dubbed "Dimes Square" in the Lower East Side. 

"I’ve always been drawn to Parisian tabacs - not only for their classic design, but also for how they function as neighborhood cornerstones, where locals of all ages come together to drink and eat throughout the day and night. With Le Dive, I set out to merge the two - to bring the best of Paris’s old and new café culture to New York," Neidich said in a release. "Designed to be versatile, our hope is that Le Dive is both a neighborhood hangout and destination spot, where friends can gather in the early evening and linger long into the night."

French libations, a selection of natural wine, and, of course, a signature martini make up the drink offerings, while the food menu is full of indulgent delicacies like steak tartare, tuna niçoise, charcuterie, and a rather Instagrammable serving of marinated tinned sardines.

Arriving just in time for the warm weather, the airy haunt features floor-to-ceiling windows that fully open onto the sidewalk for the ideal day-drinking hangout that seamlessly transitions into a lively night spot. We're calling it now: Le Dive is about to be the style set's new go-to for summer.
