Last night Ciara made a splash at the NYC concert stop on Malibu Rum's Maliboom Boom Station Invasion Tour. The event went down at one of our top Beer Gardens of the summer, Beekmans. The NYC performance was the 5th stop on the tour for the singer. Created and hosted by Malibu Rum, the 10-city tour also features Taio Cruz, who will headline seven of the 10 cities including Boston, Dallas, and Chicago throughout the summer. DJ Scribble also commanded the 1-2's for the night setting the bar for an awesome night of great music.
Ciara performed some of her hits “Goodies”, “Ride”, “Oh” and closed out with the seductive "Love Sex and Magic". Music industry editors, writers, bloggers, tastemakers and NY's cool kids were all generally there to have a great time. Malibu debuted specialty drinks like Malibu Black Ginger and Sunshine featuring their alluring Malibu Black Rum. Guests also enjoyed awesome burger sliders, bratwurst pretzel rolls, hot dogs and other beachy food. Fashion of the evening seen around the event was a cool mix of after-work chic and laid back summer style. Malibu Rum and Ciara definitely put on a great show and event.
