Interview: W Magazine's Edward Enninful Celebrates 25 Years In Fashion With 'Seven Deadly Sins'

It's the sign of the times, it's an overload of information, and with that comes that kind of apathy, doesn't it? I believe in, even if there's a lot of information, being able to take what you need and eliminate what you don't. And maybe that comes with age, I don't know. But there's a lot of noise, and within that you take what you need and discard what you don't. I think that's the only way to survive the noises, as you say.

What designers excite you the most at the moment?

I love Hood by Air, I love Givenchy, I like that there's a group of designers now, speaking to their generation. Ricardo was always talking about cross cultural; I like this whole thing about talking to the world you live in. I come from a time where fashion was very elite...it was elitist, a few people went to the shows. Now it feels like everyones participating, but there are still curators in there.
