When did you launch the line?
BM: I launched it a year ago. And I developed two other lines of hair colors for major companies, but they wouldn't put my name on it because I was "part of the team." It was all "the guys." So finally, in the year 2013, a woman is taking control in a woman's industry. Most of the people who do hair in this country are women. Most of the people who are famous for it are men. Frederic Fekkai, Vidal Sasoon. Few women. I'm doing this, and I credit this company. And I do this, of course for appearance and beauty, but also as a step forward politically for women, business-wise. I think we could do it. We have done it for years but nobody let us out of our little hutch.
