Have you had experiences with the Full Moon party in Thailand?
MP: Nope. Almost went once. Heard it's a shit show, though.
What made you decide to bring that particular event to NYC?
MP: It was Brett's idea first, so I will let him speak on that, but I think it's more of a fascination with celebrating a natural occurrence that has been a focus of celebration and worship for thousands of years, and creating a cool New York City party around that. I think the accessibility of that is what's made it so successful.
