Tell me about the first Haculla collection.
HG: Even though you do a character so many times, not everyone has seen it.
It is pretty famous at this point, especially with the murals at the Electric Room or in Williamsburg.
HG: Yea but that doesn't mean the Midwest has seen it. That doesn't mean Japan has seen it, or Australia. That's the whole thing with branding, you've seen it a million times, New York has seen it a million times, but the world hasn't. The fact that New York is my home makes it a lot more powerful and impactive.
The line is already global, Bloomingdales, Ron Herman, Saks, Lane Crawford, Harvey Nichols. We're doing a runway show with Trapstar in January, my first runway show with the line.
