You're starting to see much more interest in both street and fine art, from a multitude of cultural figures.

HG: I think it's just because hip hop now has become interested in art. Before it was rock n' roll, when David Bowie and Sting did collaborations with directors or artists at that time; you couldn't really catch a lot of people doing that kind of collaboration in hip hop. As far as hip hop, it was too new a thing to adapt to or have the money to be into art. It's been in the mainstream, but it's just matured to the level, where the people that are involved in it are old enough to appreciate art, because they weren't brought up with it.
