For a certain subset of tri-state area residents, East Coast college kids, and New Jersey natives, fall is about one thing only: The Hunt. Also known as the Far Hills Race Meeting, the tradition is technically a horse race, but attendees make it all about the tailgate. Over the weekend, around 35,000 preppy partygoers dressed in their plaid, vest, and Hunter boot best to chug champagne out of Solo cups and hang out on car roofs for the 99th annual gathering in Far Hills, New Jersey.
