While vacationing in Bali, Schlater posted an especially odd #humblebrag, posing in a white bikini while looking off into a rice field where a farmer could be seen working. "Thinking about how different my life is from the man picking in the rice field every morning," she originally captioned the photo, later changing it to say she was "misunderstood" when followers flooded her account accusing her of being narcissistic, ignorant, and exploitative. The wave of backlash caused her to delete her account, though she currently seems to have returned with a private page.
