Keith McNally, "the restaurateur who created downtown" with hot spots including Pastis, Balthazar, Minetta Tavern, and The Odeon, has just launched his most exciting venture yet: an Instagram account.
The 68-year-old started posting just four days ago but his feed is already a treasure trove of personal pictures and throwback snaps, made even more amusing by his totally on-brand, completely cheeky captions.
"My London house I’m forced to sell to pay for my fucking divorce," reads one image of an admittedly nice-looking living room. "Minetta Tavern. Packed to the rafters," he says beneath an image of his West Village eatery (looking a little empty). He's even shared a rather too-honest review of Tom Hanks' latest film, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood: "Hanks in another Boring film playing someone who’s had a Lobotomy."
