The season of eternal darkness is upon us. Ugh. If turning the clocks back gives you a permanent sense of the Sunday Scaries, trust, you are not alone. According to the The American Academy of Family Physicians, around 4 to 6% of Americans clinically suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, but shorter days and longer nights can make anyone feel fatigued, depressed and generally out of whack - they don't call it SAD for nothin'. Luckily there are plenty of ways to fight the winter blues.
